Sandra Palmer became a professional golfer on the LPGA Tour but long before it, she met Sandra Haynie at the age of 13. They did not know it then but both Palmer and Haynie would go on to being the best of friends and both enjoy long successful careers on the LPGA Tour. Palmer would go on and win 19 times with two career majors playing along the Mickey Wright, JoAnne Carner and a list of the great LPGA founders. Likewise, Sandra Haynie won a ton on the LPGA Tour and won a boatload of tournaments. Haynie's 42 wins included four majors. Both of these legends were the honorary golfers at the French Lick Resort for the Old National Bank LPGA Players Championship. The Pete Dye Course at the French Lick Resort is a major player in the world of golf hosting B1G, Symetra Tour and for the last couple of years, the Legends of the LPGA Tour. The Riley's Children Foundation is the recipient of the tournaments charities.
