One things for sure. Any golf hole can decide a championship. You build a scorecard one hole at a time and a bogey on one could be made up for with a birdie on the next hole. So there you have it.  In golf, drive it long and straight. There is not a punitive amount of sand or water hazards at Spring Meadows Country Club but the trees will catch those errant off the tee with a steady diet of chipping it back to the fairway.
