Have you ever wondered if anyone has ever won one of those hole-in-one contests where you win money or a car? I have played in many golf outings over the years and have seen close shots and at the recent Detroit Sports Media golf outing at Cherry Creek Golf Club, in Shelby Township, it did. DSM President Trevor Thompson and the Board of Directors were there to present the award and here is the story.

About the Detroit Sports Media Organization
The DSM, formerly known as the Detroit Sports Broadcasters Association, was created in 1948 by Ty Tyson and other Metro Detroit sports announcers to help electronic media gain the same press access as sports writers. It is the only local sports media association remaining in United States, welcoming sports media professionals from every discipline of the industry.
